UAE / Dubai
Most Indian travellers who are not otherwise eligible for visa-on-arrival / qualifying entry need a pre-arranged UAE tourist visa or entry permit. Some Indian passport holders with qualifying foreign visas or residence permits may have a different route.

As of 15 September 2026, Indian ordinary passport holders can use Thailand’s 30-day visa-exemption scheme for tourism and short-term business engagements, subject to entry conditions and immigration decision.

Indian travel-document holders are on Singapore’s visa-required list. Applications are generally submitted through a local contact, strategic partner / authorised visa agent, or Singapore Overseas Mission route.

Vietnam’s official e-Visa system supports eligible foreign travellers, including Indian passport holders, for single or multiple entry. The official portal states e-Visas can be valid for up to 90 days.

Malaysia’s Immigration Department currently notes that Indian citizens are visa exempt until 31 December 2026. Entry conditions and any arrival formalities still need to be checked before travel.

India is listed among Indonesia’s Visa on Arrival eligible nationalities. The official immigration guidance states VOA can allow a 30-day stay and may be extended once for another 30 days.

Japan’s eVisa system is available in India for eligible single-entry short-term tourism applications. Applications are facilitated through VFS, with the visa issued electronically if approved.

A Schengen short-stay visa generally allows travel across the Schengen area for up to 90 days in any 180-day period, subject to the visa granted. You apply to the consulate responsible for your main destination under the Schengen rules.

Indian tourists generally use the UK Standard Visitor visa for tourism, family visits and other permitted visitor activities. Applications are submitted online and normally include a visa-application-centre appointment.

Tourism generally uses the B-2 or combined B-1/B-2 visitor visa. The process includes Form DS-160, the application fee and usually a consular interview unless an exception applies.
